1.  SIAN EVANS UNSTITCHED BAND

Louder

I can't control this feeling
something's happening inside me
our senses come alive
the chemistry is building
it's something that we're feeling
there's nowhere you can hide

It's gonna get louder
We're gonna get stronger
We're gonna feel better
You can't tame this energy inside
I gotta reach higher
I wanna burn like a fire
Gotta move faster
You can't tame this energy inside

perpetual emotion
it's just a ripple in the ocean
a shadow in the night
changes we're making for the better
we're going through together
there's nowhere you can hide

it's more than a feeling
we're building a dream that we've always had clear in our sights
watch it ignite as we open our eye
it's the one way we know to survive
we're powerfully changing the world
we're reclaiming our unity
they can't divide
they push us around
but we're tearing it down
and we're having the time of our life

You can't tame this energy inside
faster
louder
stronger
better
faster
louder
better
you can't tame this energy inside

Heroes Fall

Bring it back to reality
Do you recall
How we always made a stand?
We acted out instinctively
We had a voice and we’d shout across the land

Our survival is not a certainty
We should have thought this through when time began
Can’t escape mortality
Now is it  time to find a master plan

When you hear the thunder roll
Isn’t just a curtain call
Is it time to face it all
It’s now or never

Dig your head out of the sand
Don’t trust the suited man
Maybe they don’t understand
It’s now or never

Give me something to believe in

Don’t let my heroes fall
I need someone to believe in
Don’t make me fight this war
On my own, on my own own

Don’t let my heroes fall
I need someone to believe in
Don’t make me fight this war
Oh no I can’t go it alone
No No More

I can see it in front of me
A crystal ball that I could never touch
A lesson learnt from history
We didn’t stop
'Coz we wanted it too much

Too fast, too soon
We take, consume, use it all up
We taste, we waste
We try, we buy, gotta keep it up

I wanna live past 23 – 23 – 23

I need something to believe in

Don’t let my heroes fall
I need someone to believe in
Don’t make me fight this war
On my own, on my own own

Don’t let my heroes fall
I need someone to believe in
Don’t make me fight this war
Oh no I can’t go it alone
No No More

Too fast, too soon
We take, consume, we use it all up
We taste, we waste
We try, we buy, we keep it up
Everybody taking
And forsaking the world
Until it’s breaking
And it’s breaking my heart
To see it like that

Don’t let my heroes fall
I need someone to believe in
Don’t make me fight this war
On my own, on my own own

Don’t let my heroes fall
I need someone to believe in
Don’t make me fight this war
Oh no I can’t go it alone
No No More

The Man Who Sold The World

(originally by David Bowie)

We passed upon the stair,
we spoke of was and when
Although I wasn't there,
he said I was his friend

Which came as some surprise
I spoke into his eyes
I thought you died alone,
a long long time ago

Oh no, not me
I never lost control
You're face to face
With The Man Who Sold The World

I laughed and shook his hand,
and made my way back home
I searched for form and land,
for years and years I roamed

I gazed a gazely stare
at all the millions here
We must have died alone,
a long long time ago

Who knows? not me
We never lost control
You're face to face
With the Man who Sold the World

We Can Make It Right Together

So you are an anarchist?
Running around and getting pissed
You should be getting activist
And saving the nation
I gotta get something off my chest
Our government is an Eton mess
We need leaders to be their best
Not sell off the silver & fuck the rest

We can win this fight together
We can make it right together
We can win this fight together
We can make it right together

You're oil hungry hypocrites
Shaking us down till we're all in bits
And if you don't like war planes & ships
Then you are a traitor
Poison water, children drink
There's gas flames in your kitchen sink
You'll be arrested if you even think
Coz you're a protestor

We can win this fight together
We can make it right together
We can win this fight together
We can make it right together

We can make it right together (x6)
We can make it right together now
Together now
Together now
Together now
We can make it right together
Together now
Together now
Together now
We can make it right together

You are not my enemy
We are not your enemy
And I am not your enemy
We're the just the c-c-country
Not and oil company
We just vote here
We just fucking live here
So why don't you just frack off!

When The Developers Came To Tea

When the developers came to tea
I had lilacs outside my room
I had a little blackbird whistling me a blackbird tune
I had conkers swinging high in the chestnut tree
I had enough honey for at least 1 thousand and 50 bees!

I had butterflies and cups everywhere
I had a little cornfield with scarecrows and crows to scare
I even had clover, 3 leaf and sometimes 4
but what I had back then I'm afraid I don't have anymore

'Cos big bulldozers cut through my rolling hills
men with suits and cell phone ears
put concrete on the daffodils

Gold in the milk
diamonds in the sugar
they stirred it up with bribery
old Mrs. Brown couldn't turn 'em down
when the developers came to tea

(Mrs. Brown it's the developers here. Open the door. Open the door right now).

I had next door neighbors dropping in
I had a little corner shop
full of almost everything
a pinta on my doorstep, thanks to a friendly cow
but we just go like sheep to ugly supermarkets now

Streams of cars and traffic jams
they put a motorway
where there used to be baby lambs

Gold in the milk, diamonds in the sugar
they took my childhood away from me
Silly Mrs. Brown couldn't turn them down
when the developers came to tea

Ragged Shoreline

The northern shore is wild and free
like daggers are its teeth
cold borders battle hard along its raging reef
down to Leith

The western shore receives the sun
from far America
deep Atlantic surge of waves
from the bays of New Hampshire
Across the Stir

Painted by the brine
an infinity of miles
embrace the shoreline, the ragged shoreline

The eastern coast is Nelson's lair
shallow flat and wet
the mist clears on Whitby bay
to show the fishing nets
the red sunsets

Painted by the brine
an infinity of miles
embrace the shoreline, the ragged shoreline

From Tyne and Wash the tide will cross
to the veracious Thames
there docks the wondering world
on London's crooked stems
Welcome them......to the shoreline, the ragged shoreline

The southern shore is guarded well
by castle rock and isle
overlooked by chalky cliff along its crooked miles
Sing the waves .......

2. THE MEOW MEOWS

England Is Over

So are you ready
To lose control,
Or are you waiting
ʻTill you enrol?
An education
What will you get
Three years frustration
A minor debt

Look to the Left
Look to the Right
A gentle bark
Has too much bite
Or are you waiting
For another day
A lifetime saving
Is pissed away

We fought for better education
You heard what you wanted anyway
You fell for the same situation
A different face
The same disgrace

Are you distracted
Youʼve got no voice
And are you angry
Youʼve got no choice
Or are you waiting
'Till another day
Are you embarrassed
You have no say

We fought for better education
You heard what you wanted anyway
So now you swallow your frustration
On the treadmill
A bitter pill

So was it worth it?
What did you get?
Start an uprising
A minor threat
Look to the Left
Look to the Right
What you gonna do?
Are you gonna fight?

Westminster

Cold, cold is the air around us,
Through to the bones I've never sold.
We must remember that we are the law with our numbers.

Don't stop your visions of repair.

Stop the reign, stop the reign.
And let's take Westminster.
We made these chains.
Stop the reign, stop the reign.
And let's take Westminster,
Coz we are change.

Blame, blame is the pointed finger
And you'll never stop till you dig its grave.
And we must remember the people who are lost in slumber.

Don't stop your visions of repair.

Stop the reign, stop the reign.
And let's take Westminster.
We made these chains.
Stop the reign, stop the reign.
And let's take Westminster,
Coz we are change.

Never underestimate your mind.
Born into a system living servants till we die.

Don't stop your visions of this world you could repair.

Stop the reign, stop the reign.
And let's take Westminster.
We made these chains.
Stop the reign, stop the pain.
And let's take Westminster,
Coz we are change.

6.  CARRIE TREE

Water Song (Frack Free Edit)

I'm in the wild lands of Ireland,
An old ancient town.
Where our Grandfather's would have drunk fresh from the well.
I'm sitting here quietly by the river shore,
but I hear the clear song of sorrow coming from the river floor.
I talked to a local man who dropped me off here,
he said,
"You can't drink or swim in any water round here no more,
No you can't drink or swim in any water round here no more".

Well where do you come from,
And where would you flee,
If we kill all the sweet water and there's just dead salty sea?
And would we then fight for it, coz how would you survive,
At what point would we notice all the river's had died?
When you can't drink or swim in any water in this world no more?

I make a prayer and I sing for all the water in this world.

Don't we know this yet?
Earth is our body, As water's our blood.

The virus of our greed is now reaching the edge.
If we're not so careful they'll be no wild places left.
Grandfather warns us of the red in the sky,
If we keep on consuming with our insane denial.
I don't mean to sound tragic,
I don't mean to bring you down,
But there are oceans of tears to be cried for the waste of this land.

Where do you come from, And where would you flee,
If we kill all the sweet water and there's just angry dead sea?
How would we ever grieve this, Oh I need to hear you cry,
At what point would you notice all the river's had died?
Who would tell our children, what on earth would we say,
No you can't drink or swim in any water in this world no more?

So I make a prayer and I stand for all the water in this world -
I will somehow protect you,
May I somehow not forsake you.
I fell asleep at the wheel, I got severed from truth
but I pray we're waking up in time...
I pray we're waking up in time.

Don't we know this yet?
Earth is our body,  As Water's our blood.
And I know this now,
Earth is my body, as water's my blood.

Good Fight

Let me hear you say Put em’ up, put em’ up
Let me hear you say Put em’ up, put em’ up

For every finger you point
There’s three pointing back at you
For every chance that you let slip by
You’ve got a lame excuse
Nothing you wanna say
Nothing you wanna do
So you just sit and wait
So typical of you
Don’t let it pass you by
Life is short just keep on moving
We won’t get another try

Don’t need your apathy
Give me your energy
We’re all in this together
Embrace your enemy
It’s time to breathe in deep
We’ll fight the good fight, the good fight

You can be my teacher
And I’ll learn a thing or two
I don’t need a preacher baby
What I need is you
I’ll take the little test
You’ll take a little more
We can only do my best
To even up the score
Don’t let it pass you by
Life is short just keep on moving
We won’t get another try

Don’t need your apathy
Give me your energy
We’re all in this together
Embrace your enemy
It’s time to breathe in deep
We’ll fight the good fight, the good fight

Oh, let me hear you say, put em up, put em’ up
Oh, let me hear you say, put em up, put em’ up

I’ll take the little test
You’ll take a little more
We can only do my best

Running

I ran away,
To find the bright lights calling my name
But the call didn't reach my ears
So i fell to the ground in fear
What happens to me now
How will the world find out
Will the seasons change
To leave me running in the rain

Through the backstreets I'll be running
Into the listless arms of nothing
Into another dead end I run
Trying to find a way in the darkness
Through the backstreets I'll be running
Into the listless arms of nothing
Into another dead end I run
It's getting hard to keep on running

Is there a place where we can go
To thaw our bones
A place we can call home and see
Things the way they should be seen
Because i don't know
Head from heart
Or wrong from right
All i know is this is life, this is life

Through the backstreets I'll be running
Into the listless arms of nothing
Into another dead end I run
Trying to find a way in the darkness
Through the backstreets I'll be running
Into the listless arms of nothing
Into another dead end I run
It's getting hard to keep on running

My True Nature (Revisited)

Life can leave me lost And wandering alone
Armies on all sides
And far away from home
But when the rain falls I’m finally alive

There’s more than you or I can ever know
Each tree that meets the sky has roots deep down below
Such mysteries fill the rivers and walk the hills
I step outside and feel like I’ve
Come home….

My true nature grows
And changes naturally
I am everything
And everything is me
So when the moon calls
I’m finally alive

There’s more than you or I can ever know
Each tree that meets the sky has roots deep down below
Such mysteries fill the rivers and walk the hills
I step outside and feel like I’ve
Come home….

Polar Bears

It's not only about Polar Bears it's also about People, People.people, people, people,
It's not only about Polar bears it's also about people
,
People driven from there home due to desertification,
People driven from their home because of rising seas,

Children trained to carry rifles as a service to their nation,
Children shit themselves to death due to disease.
Now I know it's fucking awful that the polar caps are melting,
That a sacred species' standing on the brink,
Yet every time I see the issue tackled in the papers,
I see a picture of a bear and have to think,

That it's not only about Polar bears,
It's also about people,
people.people,people,people,

People freezing in there homes because they can't afford the power,
People starving in there homes because they can't afford the rice,
People packed up into ghetto’s getting bigger by the hour,
People paying for their freedom at a top end price.

See it's not only about Polar bears,
It's also about people,
people.people,people,people.

Defenders Of The Land

I vow to thee my country
That I will stand my ground
And I vow to lay my life down
If that time comes around
They will find me here fighting
With everything I have
When they come to destroy
Our green and pleasant land

I will throw you out
Come hell or high water
I will chase you down
‘Til you’re running from our borders
For you will admit defeat
Upon bended knee
‘Cause I’ll never let you take
My country from me

I vow to thee my country
To stand for what is right
And I will not let them silence me
With fear and vicious lies
Be they media or government
Financed by corporate greed
They will come to rue the day
They thought I could be deceived

I will throw you out
Come hell or high water
I will chase you down
‘Til you’re running from our borders
For you will admit defeat
Upon bended knee
‘Cause I’ll never let you take
My country from me

I vow to thee my country
To guard and serve this land
I will not be swayed by cowards
Or the ignorance of man
These forests and these fields
Our gullies and our streams
Are worth more than all the gold
They could ever give to me

I will throw you out
Come hell or high water
I will chase you down
‘Til you’re running from our borders
For you will admit defeat
Upon bended knee
Because I’ll never let you take
My country from me

We will throw you out
Come hell or high water
We will chase you down
‘Til you’re running from our borders
For you will admit defeat
Upon bended knee
Because we stand here together
